Lunigiana Scenes - Serricciolo

Serricciolo is where I walk to get my morning coffee. It was pretty much leveled and the population executed by the Nazis in retribution for some partigiani activity during the war.

Still, things can age well, even in a short time. Why is it that my wooden house in the US only gets worse over time, when Italian houses get better looking?
