Just Peachy in the Alps

Peach season seems to be occurring at the same time in Piemonte as is here in dry California. We just had some nice peaches from the garden last night. It was easy, you just cut them up, put ‘em in a bowl and put a big gob of vanilla ice cream on top.

Well, I did that. I’m just a simply sorta guy. But what if you’re a pastry chef who happens to run a B&B in the alps?

Well, Marla does those peaches proud. Then takes pictures that make your mouth water. Get some plastic wrap over your keyboard, I’m warning you. Here they are

She even explains the history of her dishes and gives you a recipe. You can’t beat that with a breadstick.
