What do you get when you put together a cook with French roots living in Tuscany and an Italian one living in the south of France? Pig on a Tuscan Grill, among other things.

Judy Witts Francini and Kate Hill will go to market with you, and cook up numerous pig specialties on June 17 – 23 for a Chianti Classico Culinary Experience

Why do I go on and on about pork? Because where I come from the pork has been turned into a tastless, cardboardy white kinda deal by corporate farms. Around the Med, people have a respect for the animals they eat, and it shows.

I hope they need press coverage for this event, because my mouth is watering and I’m a long way from the Mediterranean right now.
