Ever wonder what it’s like to be a journalist at the Olympics? Well, About.com and NBC have partnered to send me to Torino to dig up stories about sports, travel, and how this thing will all turn out.
I’m excited. There are tons of things I’m oddly curious about (what does Bode Miller eat go to with those beers? Can luge drivers get insurance while they’re practicing?) and somebody’s gonna have to drag me away from the computer to get me to stop writing about the Olympic spectacle and all those who participate in it. Here’s where it all will reside: Olympic blog.
I visited Torino last spring, while work was going on. Much of the city was torn up. It was hard to envision how it would all work out. I can’t wait to see it when I return to Torino on the 6th of February.
So check out the blog, and leave a comment if there’s something you really want to know about the Olympics or how it’s playing out in Turin.
