I paid only $6.26 a pound for my Parmigiano Reggiano DOC. It probably tastes better than your cheese because it hasn’t suffered the trauma of shipping or spending time in the back of a truck in some gawdawful frozen wasteland waiting to be unloaded.
And it’s not that industrial beige dust in a can, laced with salt.
And mmmm is it good.
